Demonstrating CRED Year Round

NMCD employees across the state are committed to demonstrating credibility, responsibility, ethics and dedication. They do this in so many ways throughout the year. Both inside and outside of work. Day in and day out. Most recently they have done this by participating in the Law Enforcement Torch Run.

The Torch Run encourages Law Enforcement agencies from across the state to raise awareness and funds for Special Olympics New Mexico. This year our officers participated from Las Cruces, Los Lunas and Albuquerque.
The torch arrived in Las Cruces on May 28th.

The Albuquerque team had the honor this year of leading the procession from Civic Plaza to UNM Stadium.

These participants demonstrate every day how committed they are to making a difference in offenders lives. They also demonstrate CRED by giving back to the community.

"We commit to the safety and well-being of the people of New Mexico by doing the right thing, always."
