Looking Forward in 2014

We made it!!! This may be the last day of the session (thank goodness!!) but that doesn't mean we are slowing down! For this last day we thought it was fitting to look forward to the future!!!

So what can you expect from NMCD for the rest of the year? Glad you asked!!

Old Main Tours start in May -- get your tickets now!!

The first Offender Hobby Fair will be this October! Come check it out and take home a one-of-a-kind piece of art.

Cowboy Up will be galloping through Springer as our offenders rehabilitate abused and abandoned horses while rehabilitating themselves at the same time.

Our prisons will become environments were segregation placement is lower and more programming is available for all classifications of inmates.

Our Probation and Parole officers will continue to partner with outside agencies to help offenders pay back their debt to society, find employment, get their education and succeed.

Big things are ahead for this year! Want to know more? Read our previous blog posts! (As if you haven't been captivated and following each day!!!) or email Alex Tomlin, Public Affairs Director, anytime at

May you be blessed in 2014, we know we are!
