Crisis Intervention Training

Everyday our Probation and Parole officers spend their days trying to help offenders succeed and improve their lives. More often these days they are faced with trying to supervising offenders who have mental health or development disabilities. In an effort to continue to do what's right an ensure public safety, our probation and parole officers are now undergoing crisis intervention training.

This training includes how to recognize clues and warning signs, de-escalate situations where offenders may be in crisis and take the appropriate action. This training is crucial to continue to provide services for offenders and ensure the safety of our staff and the public.
